The Publishers’ Forum Returns to Lviv!

This autumn, Lviv will once again reclaim its role as the capital of books, heartfelt encounters, and meaningful conversations. The voices of authors will echo once more, emotional debates and fiery discussions will unfold. The Publishers’ Forum is returning offline, traditionally — at the Palace of Arts — where book lovers will find the most anticipated titles or discover works that become true literary revelations.

Since 2020, we haven’t had the chance to meet among books. The pandemic forced us online, and the war demanded safer formats. But in 2025, BookForum is coming back — as always, with a book fair, poetry evenings, meetings, hugs, and warm conversations.

This year’s Forum will focus on literature as a force capable of surviving even the darkest of times — through crisis and oblivion. Discussions will center on how texts help preserve our inner balance, shape new meanings, and enable us — individually and collectively — to remain engaged with reality and to reimagine it.

This year, book and literature enthusiasts can look forward to:

  • a vast book fair with thousands of captivating titles at the Palace of Arts — no tents, but a renewed space, food courts, and refined aesthetics;
  • over 150 publishers offering tens of thousands of books;
  • hundreds of Ukrainian and international authors, including both emerging voices and well-known names.

The Publishers’ Forum in Lviv is about love — despite everything — and through this feeling, it seeks to unite everyone who visits Lviv this autumn. This year’s event is not just a return to the traditional format. It is proof that even in times of war, there is still space for words, for literature, for reflection, and for the search for meaning.

From October 3 to 5, 2025, we await all book lovers — those who remember the first fairs, and those who are just learning how to read!
