We present the life story of Roman Shukhevych in a mal'opys! The legendary commander of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, who became a symbol of the struggle for Ukraine. But at the same time he was an ambitious athlete, musician, creative entrepreneur and elusive conspirator.
After his death, Shukhevych was unlucky twice: some turned him into a Nazi collaborator, others into a bronze idol. But what was he really like? They tried to show this in the mal'opys "Shukh. The Story of a Legend".
The comics will be useful not only to fans of the famous commander, but will also become a fascinating acquaintance with an outstanding figure of our history for all Ukrainians. Historical accuracy, a dynamic plot and masterful drawing create a fascinating story about the main events in the life of Roman Shukhevych.
This project was the result of the initiative and financing of the cult restaurant "Kryivka" in partnership with the editorial offices of "Local History" and UA Comix.

UA Comix is a publishing house of Ukrainian comics called mal'opys. Founded in Lviv in 2017, it brings together a community of artists, creators and authors who generate a new cultural product.
