Анотація

The monograph thoroughly examines various aspects of the long, eventful relationship between Ivan Franko and the famous Ukrainian writer, memoirist, publicist, translator, teacher, cultural and educational figure, and activist of the women's movement in Galicia, Ulyana Kravchenko. Attention is paid to the history of the preservation, organization, and publication of their mutual correspondence, the ideological and figurative echoes of their poetry, and the reception of this issue in previous studies is summarized.


For a wide range of readers: scholars, teachers, students of the humanities, and all those interested in the literary, historical, and cultural process in Western Ukraine of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
