Born in Lithuania, Dalia Staponkutė graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of St. Petersburg University, Russia, and earned a PhD in University of Cyprus and University of Warwick (UK). She travels a lot. "Faced with Two Options, I Choose the Third" (2015) is the third book by Staponkute, which won honorary literary awards in Lithuania (I Critics 'Prize and I Readers' Prize) and in RF (the best foreign writer 2020 in the project "Reading St. Petersburg"). The book has already been translated into, Russian, German and Greek.
