Territory of Terror

The museum is located in Lviv on the territory of the former ghettos (1941–1943) and the G25 transit prison (1944–1955). The location determines the focal themes of the institution: the transformation of urban space as a result of Nazi and Soviet violence, human experiences in extreme conditions. We form a platform for dialogue and discussion around the traumatic events of the past and present in order to build a tolerant and inclusive society.
