Ukrainian writer, journalist, longtime host of the BBC Ukrainian service, translator. He currently works as a spokesman for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Initiator and member of the BBC Book of the Year Book Jury, which has been held in partnership with the EBRD since 2012.
