Mariana Verbovska is a Ukrainian environmental journalist with 10 years of experience in traditional and online media, communications, and environmental activism. In 2017, she was a winner of the United Nations Media Contest Publications for changes and in 2018 she was a winner of the most important Ukrainian competition, Honor of the profession, for the best comment coverage of a complicated topic (global warming). She has worked for ZAXID.NET and Ukrayinska Pravda (online), THE DAY newspapaper
