Anastasiia Mahazova

She was born and raised in Simferopol. She studied at the Schools of Journalism in Munich and Berlin. Since 2015, she has worked as a correspondent for the German media corporation Deutsche Welle and the newspaper Die Tageszeitung. As a Regional Reporting Fellowship, she was the author of Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty for a year. She received several professional awards for covering the events in Donbass. Since 2019, he has lived in Berlin, where he holds a master's degree in political science from the Free University of Berlin.
