Terrell Jermaine Starr

Terrell Jermmaine Starr is the host and Founder of Black Diplomats Official YouTube channel, where he publishes documentary-style video reports about civilian life in Ukraine during the war. Before he started covering Ukraine full time, in 2022, Terrell worked as a national political correspondent for The Root, Black-run news site where he covered politics at every level. He interviewed high-level political leaders, including now-VP Kamala Harris, Sen. Bernie Sanders and other notable figures. He has also reported on the U.S. military and nuclear weapons, the Black Lives Matter Movement and other issues during his 16 year journalism career.
