There is probably no Ukrainian child or adult who does not know Franko's fairy tale about the Fox Mykyta. From its first appearance in 1890 in the children's magazine "Dzvinok" to the present day, this character remains perhaps the most recognizable beast in Ukrainian literature. To some extent, he suffered the fate of a fairy tale in its simplified sense - but it is worth only once to familiarize yourself with the original, and the myth about the children's fairy tale is instantly dispelled. The Fox was illustrated by many prominent artists, and each time he acquired a new form and new meaning. Now it is his turn to appear in the form of a mal'opys.
With great delight and even greater responsibility, we present to you the drawn story "Fox Mykyta. Song One. Graphic adaptation of the verse fairy tale by Ivan Franko".
The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Franko House.
