Multiculturalism: national communities and indigenous peoples of Ukraine

In the autumn of 2021, the Ukraїner media organization will present an illustrated publication that will describe the diversity of cultures that coexist in Ukraine. This book will tell readers informative stories about life, sometimes tragic causes of migration, life and culture, crafts and arts, interesting initiatives of representatives of various national communities and indigenous peoples of Ukraine.

The Ukraїner team has been collecting material for the publication over the past few years, researching almost 30 national communities living in Ukraine. Among them: Gagauz, Azov Greeks, Austrians, Roma, Jews, Czechs, Cubans, Nigerians and others, as well as indigenous peoples of Ukraine: Crimean Tatars, Crimean Tatars and Karaites. The book will be entitled "Who are we?" and it is to this question that Ukraїner will try to find answers on its pages.

On the eve of the book's release, visitors to the Lviv International BookForum will plunge into an ethnographic journey in the footsteps of Ukraїner.
