Humanity in the Face of War: Conversations on Dignity

How can one preserve dignity when home, personal belongings, privacy, and a sense of security are taken away? What remains of our humanity amid forced displacement, violence, and life under threat and bombardment? The conversation is inspired by the Ukrainian premiere of Karolina Sulej’s book Personal Belongings—stories about how small objects become a refuge for memory, identity, and dignity. The book is published jointly by the Mieroszewski Center, Nowa Polska, and Staryi Lev Publishing House.
