AI-Songs Based on Original Poetry: Contemporary Cringe or a Cultural Weapon Against Russia?

At a time when Ukrainian culture is forced to actively resist Russia’s imperial narrative, artificial intelligence can be seen as a tool that opens up new possibilities for rapidly producing content for both informational and cultural resistance. On the one hand, it offers a chance to amplify Ukrainian words and music, reaching broader audiences. On the other, it raises concerns about the anonymity of authors behind such content and, more broadly, the risk of sacrificing the quality of cultural products in favor of efficient algorithms. Will AI become an ally in shaping cultural weaponry, or will it remain nothing more than an odd digital cringe? This question will be explored by the hosts of the podcast “Center for MordoRU Studies” (over 100 million video views in 2025):

Alina Alekseeva, Deputy Head of the “Center for Countering Disinformation”, media expert,

Bohdan-Oleh Horobchuk, cultural sociologist, lecturer at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, author of the project “Культуртригер”.
