Kruno Lokotar (Daruvar, 1967) graduated with a degree in Comparative Literature, History, and Library Science from Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. He was one of the selectors and the sole manager of FAK (Festival a književnosti). From 2002 to 2007, he was the editor-in-chief of AGM, where he received the inaugural Kiklop award for best editor. From 2007 to 2015, he worked as an editor of domestic and regional fiction and non-fiction at the Algoritam publishing house.
