Between the Bubbles: Cultural Events as Dialogue Platforms
In conditions of extreme turbulence caused by Russian aggression against Ukraine, huge flows of information that each of us must check, extreme emotional stress and exhaustion, a large number of “breaks” appear in society, which are a challenge to our unity. In this situation, culture, on the contrary, is looking for “threads” and “bridges” of connection, through living together, thinking, and dialogue about the phenomena of art and literature. Often, such spaces for dialogue become events that unite different communities that have the opportunity to interact with each other. As practice shows, such a path for cultural initiatives is quite successful, both at the national and local levels. Therefore, we invite the professional community, cultural managers, to discuss examples of combining different “bubbles” on various dialogue platforms.
