One can argue endlessly about the quality of a translation, but each translated book is also an expression in the literary process, influencing both it and the readers. During the 30 years of independence, specific people have influenced the literary landscape around us. How to measure this impact and who is responsible for it: the publisher who decides to buy the rights, or the translator who creates the text?
