In the conditions of the bloody war of Ukrainians for survival and preservation of identity, interest in the history of Ukraine has naturally grown. Ukrainians are interested in victories and defeats, analyze what and when “went wrong”. They buy historical books, go to historical discussions, listen to historical podcasts and watch historical video blogs. Is this enough to satisfy the need for such knowledge and is the level of interest not accumulated in a certain bubble? How relevant is the information disseminated by historical bloggers for the Ukrainian historical narrative and can it be said that Ukrainian historians have left behind the departments and archives and “went to the people”?
