10 years of "Paper Bridge"

The protest against the annexation of Crimea and the partial occupation of Donbas in 2015 gave rise to the Ukrainian-German literary festival and art project “Bridge of Paper”.
Then, German and Ukrainian authors and scholars met in Lviv for several days for public conversations and readings, with simultaneous translation. Since then, readings and art events have taken place every year in various Ukrainian and German cities, with partly unchanged, partly new participants. Thus, a close connection between the literatures and arts of both countries arose.
